Why we built Knittrix
I started Knittrix after watching project managers lose afternoons to PDF scrolling. Generic AI tools couldn’t help — they hallucinated article numbers, lost citations, and missed how construction documents are actually organized.
Knittrix is built construction-first. CSI codes, AIA articles, and drawing-sheet metadata aren’t bolt-ons — they’re the structure the retrieval respects. Every answer carries a citation a PM can verify in seconds.
